A project through Stanford University and Dr. Rachelle Gould Ph.D.  This study took place in Hawai`i and was inspired by the movie Avatar.  The importance of this study was to research Hawaiian culture and learn how the land of Hawai`i place a role in preservation of Hawaiian culture, "without land their is no life, without life to cultivate the land there is sustinance".
